Re-Treatment Policy

If lice return within 30 days of your initial treatment, Lice Rescue may provide a re-treatment at no additional cost, provided eligibility requirements are met.

Re-treatment eligibility is determined by a Lice Rescue technician based on timing, household screening, and adherence to post-treatment guidance. The lice life cycle is used to help determine whether the initial treatment was unsuccessful or if a new exposure occurred.

To qualify for our 30-day lice-free guarantee, all members of the household (including split-households) must have received a Head Check from Lice Rescue, LLC (may not include fathers or those with no hair,) and, if necessary, had received professional treatment by our technicians.

The post-treatment prevention plan provided after your appointment must be followed for at least three weeks to help prevent re-infestation and remain eligible for re-treatment. Re-treatment appointments must be scheduled through our team and are subject to availability.
